Photographs We invite all photographers to submit a collection of images for publication in the Gallery section of the magazine. Submit a selection of up to 20 photographs, on any theme, and include a short introduction/bio.
These image collections can be published in any of the following sub-sections of the Gallery section: Profile, Portfolio, Reader's Gallery.
Articles We will review all submissions that include a full text or a detailed outline of an article. Accompanying photographs are necessary as acceptance is based on the quality of the photography. Articles should be between 800 and 1,200 words. Techniques should be explained in enough depth to make them clear, and illustrations should be understandable without reference to the main text. Captions are required for all submitted images. We cannot guarantee publication of articles within any given time frame. All material should be revised (spelling, grammar and punctuation) before submission; put your best foot forward.
Technical requirements Digital: Images should be 300 dpi for a minimum final print size of 8 x 10 inches. Submit uncompressed TIFF files, RGB or CMYK, on universal format CD. All texts should be on Microsoft Word. All images and texts should be included on the CD. A printed copy of the text and all images must be supplied along with the CD. Conventional: Transparencies or 8 x 10-inch prints.
A self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage to cover all return fees must accompany all submissions or material will not be returned. Stamps from countries other than Canada cannot be used when mailing from Canada. For submissions from outside Canada, please include international postage coupons for the amount of the return postage. All international submissions should bear, on the package, "For editorial review only, no commercial value. Contents to be returned to original sender".
Failure to meet submission guidelines will result in the return of material. All material must be clearly labelled with author's name, address, and phone number.

Apex Publications Inc. assumes no responsibility for the loss or damage of any solicited or unsolicited material submitted to the magazine for possible publication or otherwise. All rights for publication, reproduction, and cropping of images as well as moral rights of all submitted works are assigned to Apex Publications Inc. for one-time publication anywhere in its magazines or Web sites, with exception to a written prearranged agreement between the Editor and the author. Previously published articles will not be accepted for publication. Upon publication in one of the magazines, the author guarantees that the same article will not appear in any other magazine for one full year. In the case of photographic work where an individual is recognizable, Apex Publications Inc is not responsible for obtaining, on her/his part, written authorization for publication; this responsibility rests with the author of the photographs. Apex Publications Inc. accepts no proposals, stipulations or conditions enclosed in delivery memos or in any correspondence to the same effect. For return purposes, a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage to cover all return fees must accompany all submitted material. Otherwise, the submitted work will become the property of Apex Publications Inc. one year following its receipt. Forwarding of any material to Apex Publications Inc. amounts to express consent to the above conditions.
