The Toronto Camera Club Lecture Series

Every year The Toronto Camera Club, presents 12 lectures given by ­professional photographers from across the country, sponsored in part by Vistek, Pikto and Photo Life. Beginning on October 7, 2010 and running until March 30, 2011 the evening lecture series hosts a variety of topics including work of the Canadian Tar Sands, the front lines from Afghanistan, historical negatives rediscovered after WWII, how to wield individual creativity as a photographer and exploring the world of visual design by using found objects in the field.

Featured presenters include the ­following photographers: Louis Au, Garry Briand, Chris Chapman, Dermot Cleary, Nancy Falconi, Robert Kennedy, Louie Palu, George Simhoni, Maia-Mari Sutnik, Sid Tabak and David Wile. Photographers from every level of ­photographic skill can participate.
