CPAWS Annual Capture the Wild Photography Contest

The Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society (CPAWS) has launched its annual Capture the Wild Photography Contest with this year’s theme “The International Year of Forests.” Applicants can submit into any or all of the five following categories: Tree Huggers, Foerst Dwellers, Nature and Close, Walk on the Wild Side, and Canadian Forest. This photography contest is designed to raise awareness and funds in support of CPAWS and Alberta’s wilderness conservation. CPAWS invites photographers of all ages to capture the beauty of Canada’s wild spaces, until October 23, 2011. Prizes will be gifts card from The Camera Store.
