The Canadian Centre for Architecture in Montreal will be presenting Modernism in Miniature: Points of View from September 22 to January 8. This exhibition explores the relationship between photography and model-making from 1920 to 1960. Treating model photography as a genre, Modernism in Miniature looks at the influence of mass media on the use of models as a tool during this era and how photography impacts the perception of the miniature. The vernissage for Modernism in Miniature is September 23, at 6 pm, with a presentation from curator Davide Deriu at 7 pm.
