The second annual Zoom Photo Festival Saguenay: International Meeting of Photojournalism, the first and only Canadian festival dedicated to photojournalism, is going on now through November 27 in Chicoutimi, Quebec. The month-long photo festival offers workshops, conferences, and 17 photo exhibitions. All but one of the photo exhibitions are free, and there is a pass available for purchase that includes admission to all festival events. Some of the exhibitions include World Press Photo 2011, Sarah Caron’s Pakistan/Land of the Pure, Antropographia: Human Rights and Photography, Simply Beautiful: Photos of National Geographic, Bernard Brault’s The Montreal Canadiens, and VII Photo Agency’s Aid and Abet: Working with NGOs.
