Youth Take Charge

The Frozen Eyes Photographic Society is launching a photographic leadership development program for Northwest Territories youth with an ability and interest in photography. Funded by the Department of Canadian Heritage’s Youth Take Charge program, this new program is looking for 12 to 15 NWT youth between the ages of 13 and 19. The program offers selected youth a week-long photography workshop in Yellowknife from March 18 through 25, the opportunity to work with a mentor to run a photo workshop for other young people, and a showing of their work in a travelling and online exhibition of NWT youth photography.
