On exhibition at Toronto’s Pikto Gallery from March 1 through 31, Vuk Dragojevic’s Belgrade House examines a sense of simultaneously being an insider and an outsider—both belonging and standing out. Dragojevic, who immigrated to Canada 12 years ago and is now based in Toronto, documents the people and places of his life in Belgrade, exploring the tension between geographical distance and a sense of emotional closeness.
