(source: Huffington Post Travel) When it comes to cities in North America, Toronto’s pretty great. But don’t just take our word for it: Google’s Zeitgeist 2012 ranked Ontario’s capital as one of the most searched cities of 2012 for Canadians and Americans. “Hogtown”, as it is sometimes known, also made Condé Nast Traveler’s list for one of the best cities to visit in 2013, with the magazine citing Toronto’s food, art and architecture as some of the best in the world.

And if there’s one photographer who’s familiar with Toronto’s architecture, it’s Tom Ryaboi. If you don’t know the name, there’s still a good chance you’ll at least recognize the Toronto-based photographer’s work. Ryaboi is the creative force behind “City Rising”, a timelapse video which, despite getting him arrested, made headlines in the local media and landed some of his photos in publications like the Daily Mail.
