Hearst Corporation recently announced the winners of the third Hearst 8X10 Photography Biennial, an international competition that recognizes the work of eight up-and-coming artists. Canadian Kiana Hayeri was selected as one of the eight winners. The other seven winners are Jordan Baumgarten (Pennsylvania), Caleb Cole (Massachusetts), Tomasz Lazar (Poland), Michael Massaia (New Jersey), Karen Miranda (New York) and Al Palmer (U.K.). The Hearst 8X10 Photography Biennial began in 2009; this year was its third edition and there were more than 1600 entries from 79 countries. To see the winning images, please visit their website.
