From June 22 through July 20, Vid Ingelevics’ Between art & Art is on view at Stephen Bulger Gallery in Toronto. This project explores some of Ingelevics’ research of the use of photography in museums and the work of museum staff photographers. Ingelevics explained that the title points to the “often anonymous museum staff photographer” who ends up stuck between the “art” of photography (sometimes considered more of a technical skill) and the museum “Art” captured in the images of  the museum staff photographers. More details are available on the exhibition page.
