In Picton, Ontario, seventeen Eastern Ontario photographers were given awards at the 4th Annual CLIC Photo Show and Sale. Through August 10, you can see the show in the second floor gallery of Books & Company (289 Main Street, Picton, Prince Edward County).

The jurors were Canadian photographers Marilyn Lightstone, Richard Martin, and Graham Davies. They said, “The quality of the images submitted this year was astounding. This photography show is a real testament to the craft, and we are excited to see an exhibition of this calibre growing and thriving in Eastern Ontario.”

The jurors also awarded HONOURABLE MENTIONS in the ADULT DIVISION, COLOUR CATEGORY to the following photographers: David Vaughan, Checker-Mates, Napanee; Mark Hopper, Road to Heaven, Wellington; and Andrea Osborne, Winter of Discontent, Consecon.

Honourable Mentions in the ADULT DIVISION, BLACK & WHITE CATEGORY were awarded to Dave Taylor, Sugar & Snow, Picton; Lola Reid Allin, Waiting for Supper, Belleville; and Raymond Williams, Street Music, Port Hope.

In the STUDENT DIVISION, HONOURABLE MENTIONS were presented to Noah Redka, Danger, Rossmore; and to Amanda Paulhaus of Carrying Place, for two images … Fallen Flower and Eyes Only.

In addition, all visitors to the show will be given a ballot to vote on the “People’s Choice Award” winner. The winner of this award will be announced at the closing of the show on August 10th.
