Did you know that rock singer Bryan Adams is also an impressive photographer? Setting aside the question of whether or not it’s fair for one person to have so much talent, it’s clear that this artist creates stunning images. Exposed is on view at the Musée National de Beaux Arts du Québec in Quebec City from February 19 through June 14—and this is the only chance to see this exhibition in eastern Canada. With 130 black-and-white and colour images, Exposed features two groups of Adams’ work: his portraits of celebrities and his recent work with British soldiers who served in Afghanistan or Iraq. (For more on Bryan Adams’ photography, subscribers can check out our interview with him in the December/January 2013 issue in the digital archives.)
The MNBAQ will also present two other photo exhibitions from February 19 through May 10: 1950. Québec Through the Eyes of American Photojournalist Lida Moser and Incarnations: Photographs from the MNBAQ Collection From 1990 Until Today.
