From March 26 through 28, Ryerson Image Centre in Toronto is offering a free symposium, open to the public. The symposium is in its fourth year, and this year’s theme is “Photography Historians: A New Generation?” Emerging photo-historians and academics will dialogue with renowned scholars and share research with the participants and audience. The three-day event will include a keynote address by Dr. François Brunet (Professor, Art et Littérature des États-Unis, Université Paris Diderot), lectures and panel discussions. Seating is limited, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early. For a complete schedule and more details, visit ryerson.ca/ric.
