From May 7 through June 18, Joel Meyerowitz’s Survey is on view at the Stephen Bulger Gallery in Toronto. A featured exhibition in the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, these images include some of his black-and-white work as well as his early colour photographs. One of the first to adopt colour photography in the mid-1960s, Meyerowitz played a significant role in changing the perception of colour photography within the field and was a key pioneer who helped it become almost univerally accepted.
