World Photography Organisation and Zeiss have announced that the second annual Zeiss Photography Award competition is open for entries. Photographers are invited to submit a series of five to ten images to the theme Meaningful Places. The competition is open until February 7.
Last year’s winner was Tamina-Florentine Zuch, a photojournalism and documentary photography student from Hannover, Germany. She was recognized for a series documenting her train travel in India. “Tamina Zuch has an incredible eye for composition, light and a feel for the right moment. She combines these characteristics again and again in her pictures,” said juror Steve Bloom.
